Sick Leave Option

When a member is sick, injured, pregnant or on maternity leave for thirty days or more, no dues will be charged for that period, upon receipt of letter from doctor. (Special circumstances apply - at certain centers only)

Daily Operation Hours

Spa treatments are available in most Lifespa Fitness centers in Jakarta from 07:00am to 24:00pm, Sunday to Monday (on public holidays, opening hours to be advised) Last booking for any spa treatment is one hour before closing time.

Scheduling Appointments

Reservations are advised one-day in advance or at least several hours before the desired appointment time. Please call in advance to cancel or make needed time changes. We allow a “15 minute grace period”, waiting a maximum of fifteen minutes before your appointment will be given to another guest.

Selecting Treatments

Our spa therapists are very knowledgeable about Lifespa Fitness spa treatments and services. They can guide you in creating a special day of spa services, tailored to meet your needs and desires. A heat treatment is advised before your massage. Treatments allow time to relax and drink ginger tea throughout the spa treatment.

Spa courtesies

We suggest that you have a shower before starting your spa treatment for your own comfort. Also, allow yourself time to cool down after using the sauna, steam or whirlpool.

Massages vary in technique and pressure. Please let our staff help you determine the pressure that is most suitable for you.

Members and Guests will find many opportunities for group exercise through the full range of exercise classes offered by our professional, well-trained instructors. Most classes are one hour long. The Fitball
FitballThe Fitball is a large air-filled ball. It is used to increase the effectiveness of our normal exercises. The challenge comes from its instability the deep abdominal muscles must work continuously harder just to maintain balance.

Exercises that are normally performed on a mat and can be transferred to a Fitball for a better ab workout include press-ups, abdominal curls and back extensions.

Fitball Gives a more challenging and effective workout and you will see the results much faster. Doing an abdominal curl on a stable surface (mat) will never challenge the abdominals or surrounding muscle as much as doing it on an unstable surface such as the Fitball. Using a Fitball forces your core stability muscles, including the abdominals, to work from the second that you lie on the ball - even before the exercise begins! You will feel the effects on the abdominals after very few repetitions.

Improves flexibility and posture. Regular abdominal and lower back exercises on a Fitball will improve body tone. You will also enjoy reduced incidence of back pain as the stabilising muscles of the back will get stronger and be better able to support the spine.

Triple 'S'
Triple 'S' refers to: SWEAT, STRENGTH and STRETCH, with equal attention devoted to each component. Start the class with low impact aerobics, followed by weight training for all major muscle groups, and finish with a total stretch to ease tension and tightness. This class is well worth adding to your fitness routine.
Power Stretch
An energizing stretch class that incorporates modified yoga postures. The focus is on flexibility, breathing, alignment, posture, and relaxation. Take time to lengthen and stretch - an often neglected component of fitness!
Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise, developed which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.

Pilates works so well for a wide range of people. Athletes and dancers love it, as do seniors, women rebounding from pregnancy, and people who at various stages of physical rehabilitation.

Core strength is the foundation of Pilates exercise. The core muscles are the deep, internal muscles of the abdomen and back. General Nutrition Guidelines

1. Remember the model of the food pyramid ! Try to focus on increasing the consumption of fruits, vegetables, fish and chicken.

2. Add fibrous foods to your diet. Fibre is a transport medium that helps digest foods, reduce cholesterol as well as reducing the threat of cancer of the colon.

Fibrous foods: wholemeal bread, multigrain, All-bran, muesli, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, barley bran, wheat germ, corn, beans, fresh coconut.


3. The skin on fruits and vegetables contains many vitamins and enzymes. Therefore, you should consume your fruits and vegetables without peeling them.

4. Try to eat smaller portions of food four to five times a day about three hours apart. (The chart below is an example.)

5. Make sure to strip meat of fat and skin, this greatly reduces the amount of grams of fat that your meal contains.

Membentuk Otot di Awal Hari

"Makan pagi merupakan hal yang paling penting sebelum beraktifitas seharian." Istilah ini mungkin benar, tetapi jika Anda adalah seorang binaragawan istilah ini belum tentu 100% benar.

Ketika tubuh mulai membentuk massa otot, makanan yang sangat menunjang pembentukan otot adalah suplemen. Kenapa? Karena pada pagi hari itu Anda sudah mulai kehilangan jaringan otot dan tentunya Anda tidak mau membuang waktu yang berharga untuk sekedar mempersiapkan telur atau oatmeal. Untuk itu Anda membutuhkan nutrisi terutama protein yang dapat diserap dengan cepat. Pada pagi hari, tingkat testosterone tubuh juga cenderung sangat tinggi, jadi sebaiknya Anda juga mengambil kesempatan tersebut dengan mensuplementasi testosteron tersebut agar bekerja dengan maksimal. Protein Whey

Ketika Anda tidur pada malam hari, sebenarnya tubuh Anda sedang berpuasa selama 7-9 jam. Oleh karena itu ketika bangun tidur di pagi hari, tubuh mulai memecah protein otot untuk dijadikan tenaga atau biasa disebut dengan proses katabolik. Untuk menghambat proses ini diperlukan 40 gram protein whey. Whey termasuk protein yang cepat dan mudah diserap oleh tubuh, terutama jika Anda memilih whey protein isolate atau whey protein bubuk terhidrolisasi. Asam amino dari whey dengan cepat meresap dalam darah Anda untuk membentuk tenaga, sebagai pengganti protein otot. Amino tersebut tidak digunakan sebagai tenaga tetapi untuk membangun otot tubuh.

Karbohidrat Cepat Serap

Karbohidrat cepat serap akan segera memberi hati kita glikogen dengan cepat dan akan menghentikan aktivitas hati menggunakan protein dalam otot sebagai tenaga kita. Konsumsi ini juga akan mengubah fase katabolik (pemecahan otot) menjadi fase anabolik (pembentukan otot).
